Part of the “Elderflame” line, the skins convert several guns and the knife into dragons, which move around and breathe fire. The dragons are a grey-black color, with the fire inside highlighting minor details on each weapon. As players reload and fire, the dragons begin to move as one would expect a small dragon to. However, they also have static positions to rest in, ensuring players aren’t too distracted.

Players will still have to wait a few days before they can get their hands on the skins, however, as they don’t launch until July 10. That’s only a few days away, though, and with how interesting the skins are, players will likely see them quite a bit during matches for the next few weeks, depending on how long it takes for Riot to release other new Valorant skins.
Valorant’s popularity has waned a bit since launch, despite Valorant being massively popular on Twitch during its beta phase. However, it isn’t too far out of the question that the new skins will help usher in more players, giving the game a boost. Due to its competitive nature, the game lives and dies based on its popularity and ability to form a consistent base, so frequent content updates are a necessity.
Of course, it doesn’t appear that that will be a problem. Valorant will release new agents often, and one can assume that new maps will be given a similar content structure. That does set it up to potentially have balancing issues, but Riot Games has managed to keep its other popular game, League of Legends, well balanced.
Either way, Valorant’s new dragon skins should give players something to look forward to. They are some of the most unique weapon skins seen in a game to date, and if Riot manages to release other skins of the same quality, Valorant should have no trouble remaining popular.
